What is the use of PULLING DIRECTION IN Rib option?

Hello Simply I can use Rib command but what is the use of PULLING DIRECTION in Rib option?

Pulling direction sweeps the profile with respect to a specified direction and to select direction select the axis.

Pulling direction is used to make solid through sketch profile with the help of Axis or edge of other solid body.

When you make a rib of a desired profile so you have always option to make this rib along a pulling direction or by keeping an angle, if you chose profile control with a pulling direction so it will be developed by following the pulling direction.
