how can we use layer command in UG ?

how can we use layer command in UG ?

I am trying layer command in UG from a long time, but i am not getting that for what purpose I can use it ?

Please help me out.

Hi Anita,

Layer command is use to put the working model in visible and invisible, workable and show only category.
as per necessity of work.

I am Amar,
Layers are used to define different type of modeling Categories, there are 256 layers defined in U.G. We can define it by using layer setting command.
I hope you will be understand, if any doubt so you can ask again.
