Why we always made drawing in 1st and 3rd angle projection?

Postby Harvansh » Thu Nov 10, 2016 10:31 am

Hello,

Why we made drawing in 1st and 3rd angle projection not in 2nd and 4th angle projection?

Thanks

Hello Harvansh i am Sameer. It very simple but important question-

Yes we always use 1st and 3rd angle projection and never use 2nd and 4th angle projection in drawing, because in 2nd and 4th the plane get overlap with each other so it is not possible to make drawing in this condition.

Hello,
I am Ram
In 3rd angle projection we get right side view of the object in right side and top view of the body at the top side where as in 1st angle we get right side projection of body in left, side and top view projection in the bottom at the drawing sheet, but both are acceptable.

Hi,
I'am Navjot
Good question, in India generally we use 1st angle projection but globally drawing are made in 3rd angle projection because 2nd and 4th angle projection gets overlap.

Thanks :P :P
