Cylindrical and sphere are the two shapes which can bear high pressure, but spherical is costly for manufacturing so mostly cylindrical shape is preferred for good strength to resist the internal gas pressure.

Hello Navjot,
I am Farhan

Gas containers are mostly cylindrical in shape because it has high pressure carrying capacity and it is easy to manufacture.

Thank you
