Hello,
It is use to hide the solid portion which comes in front of sketch and you are not able to work properly.

I am devansh,
Cut part command can be use in solid part by this command you can cut or sectioned a solid by a plane, it is not cut a solid permanently. It is just to see a hidden parts or profile in a solid.
