What is use of REMOVE LUMP?

Good morning all,

I have noticing remove lump command from long time can some one tell me the actual use of remove lump command in CATIA?

Hi,
For better surface finish and evenness of solid we use remove lump command.

Hey Urooj,I am Ganesh. Remove lump is used to remove various selected solid part which you want to remove.

Hey Urooj,I am Nitin. REMOVE LUMP is used to remove or keep various selected solid part as per the requirement and need. These parts are in a single body.

The remove lump is a Boolean Operation, with the help of this operation you can remove the selected patterned part among the whole patterned parts.

I am Ravi,
Did you observed ever :?: that when we delete a solid among the patterned solid so the whole pattern will be deleted, to avoid this problem we use Remove Lump command from Boolean operation toolbar.
By this command you can select that particular solid which you want to delete instead of all solids.
