Why the term Para solid is use in UG-NX ?

One of my senior in company ask me to para solid of CAD part, please tell me what does para solid means in UG-NX ?

Hello,
When we had design object in lower version of NX and then we had relies that we had to build on higher version of Nx, then para solid is used to convert or translate the file from lower version to higher version NX.
