Dear Kamlesh my name is Anita i explain you what is the Frustum -

By cutting the solid cone or pyramid which is parallel to the base then the top cutting portion of face we get is frustum of that solid.

When we cut apart a cone or a pyramid and then we get a portion of solid is called frustum of that solid.

When a pyramid or cone is cutting off and that part lies between two parallel plane so a portion of solid in result we get is called frustum of the solid.
