What do you mean by truncated?

Can anyone tell me what is the truncated in part view?

hey Murari this is Amiyakant,

Truncate is a cutting off a part on solid surface. It is part of between the cutting face and viewer. :P

Hi,
I am Pragya
When we cut a solid by plane which is inclined to it’s base so the resulting solid is called truncated solid.
