Hello,

According to national and international codes we have to follow the conventions so that the drawing made by us can be easily read in all over the globe with no issues, these conventions have symbols like line, type of letters, type of materials, various types of sections, and etc. these things make drawing to easily understandable.

Thanks

Hi
you can say it a Standard which is globally accepted and standardized by ISO, like how to locate the dimensions, how to show the detail view, cross section view, what should be the font size etc.

Thanks
