Basic components used in NC machine are:-
i. Machine structure and frame .
ii. Location of transducer.
iii. Slide ways
iv. Element of transmission and positioning of sliders.
v. Spindles
vi.Tool holding arrangements

Following Various area to be consider in design of NC machine are ,
Cost, Tool holding arrangement, Spindles, Area of machine, Machine structure.
