How to Produce Hole?

Hi I'am Kamlesh,
I have an question that why are the GUN Drills mostly preferred for the production of straight and deep holes?

I'am Ravi,
Due to the self centering feature of the gun drill it is mostly preferred for the production of straight and deep holes.

I have an question, how can we define the cutting processes on the basis of production rate?

I'am Omkar,
Thees are the typical production rates for various cutting operations-
1.) Turning -Low to High
2.) Boring -very low
3.) Drilling -low to medium
4.) Milling -low to medium
5.) Planning -very low
6.) Gear cutting -low to medium
7.) Broaching -medium to high
8.) Sawing -very low to low
