hello tanmay,
Basically this code is defined for indentification of threads.
Respectively terms of code are defined below:-
1/2 for Nominal size(major di)
20 for threads per inch
UNF,UNC AND UNEF are thread series.
UNF:Fine threads for automotive and aircraft
UNC:Coarse threads for use where vibration is small
UNEF:Extra fine threads for instrumentsetc
2 for Class of thread(loose tolerances, close tolerance and tight fit)
A for external threads and B or internal threads

hello milind,
In CNC m/c the processing parameters(depth, feed rate, torque etc ) which are set by part programmer are held constant during manufacturing process.
while in Adaptive control m/c the system can adjust the processing parameters through closed-loop feedback control.

hello priyanka,
The minimum possible incremental movement is called the basic unit length (BLU).The BLU might be on the order of 0.01 mm in typical machine tool system.

hello zuber,
basically you were asked the steps involved in designing and manufacturing a product through CAD CIM AND CAPP.
So firstly, through CAD design analysis and testing is done .
Then, manufacturing process selection and eqipment are selected through CAPP AND CAM.
After production of product, inspection and quality check is done through CIM.
