Modal Analysis is use to calculate the natural frequency of any geometry and its mode shapes.

Hi Omkar,
It is not always necessary to do modal analysis in workbench, we can also do modal analysis in other CAE softwares also. Modal analysis is use to get natural frequency of object along with mode shape. By this analysis you are able to get the Resonance frequency. Hope it is beneficial to you.
