Hello all, what is stress-strain analysis and why we are using it?

Stress–strain analysis is use to calculate the stress act on the body after appling the boundary condition so that the design is safe. If the value of stress get exceeded then you have to change the desing or change the applied material so the value of the stress is always less then that of the yield stress. You can easily see the elastic and plastic region of the element on which you are performing the stress strain alalysis.
