Hi Anita,
The differences between pneumatic and hydraulics are as follows:

a) Working fluid: Pneumatic use air, Hydraulics use Oil
b) Power: Pneumatic power less than hydraulic power
c) Leakage: Leaks in hydraulics cause fluid to be sticking around the components. In pneumatics, air is leaked into the atmosphere.
d) Pneumatic obtain power from an air compressor while hydraulics require a pump
e) Air is compressible, hydraulic oil is not.
Hope you understand.

Thanks
Ravi

Hi :) :)
this is Navjot
In pneumatic system we used compressed air to operate the pneumatic component like pneumatic cylinder. In hydraulic system the incompressible fluid (oil) is used.

Hi,
I;am Kamlesh
In Pneumatic system, a compressor is required to compress the air and a receiver to collect or store the air but in a Hydraulic system a oil tank is required so that a pump can easily transfer this oil to the cylinder with high pressure. :P :P :P
