What is a ground line (G.L.) or a reference line? Why they are use?

Hi Azeem

Ground line is the interection of the to planes verticle and horizontal, and it is denoted by X-Y line.

Hello,
I am Kamlesh
We often use or draw a reference line in engineering drawing to show additional dimension of particular line or point or any other geometry.

It is a reference line which is intersects two different Horizontal and vertical planes.
